Swiss Freight Ltd is a freight forwarding company in Dhaka, Bangladesh, handling air, ocean and land freight, customs clearance and warehousing. I designed and coded its website, including two small tools its customers use while planning shipments.

## The challenge

A forwarder offers many services that sound alike to customers. Each needed its own clear page for search and for sales conversations, and the site needed to be useful to shippers, not just a brochure.

## What was built

- A bold design with a dark, cinematic hero, large type and a navy-and-yellow palette that fits the logistics industry.
- Eight service pages: air freight, ocean freight, land transport, warehousing and distribution, customs clearance, sea-air and air-air, garments on hanger, and door-to-door.
- A volumetric weight calculator: length, width, height and quantity in centimetres, inches, feet or metres, an adjustable divisor (5000 by default), or a CBM value.
- A world clock with the live local time in 32 cities, so the team and customers can plan calls and cut-offs across time zones.
- A four-step “how we work” section, a 10-question FAQ, partner logos and a quote request form that emails the team.
- Responsive layouts built with Bootstrap 5 and SCSS, with a full-screen image slideshow and scroll animations.

## In numbers

- 8 service pages
